Bettie Eaton Cox, 92, of Kirkwood, Mo., passed away peacefully on Feb. 26, 2018.

Bettie was born Oct. 3, 1925, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Fred and Harriett (Thomas) Clamp. She attended St. Peter Grade School and Villa Duchesne High School. Bettie was a member of St. Peter parish for over 65 years.

On Feb. 4, 1944, Bettie was united in marriage to William M. Cox Jr. She was married to William 66 years until his death in 2010. Bettie was a stay-at-home, loving mother of nine who enjoyed playing bridge, mahjong and golf. She was an accomplished golfer and recorded two holes in one. Bettie considered Kirkwood her home and lived there for 64 years.

Bettie will be greatly missed by her children, William M. III "Jody" (Marilyn), Michael E. (Margaret deceased), Thomas E. (Susan), Christopher B. (Ellen Anderson), Timothy F. (Gretchen), Mark J. (Susan), Craig F. (Shirley), Mary "Cissy" Elizabeth (Ronald) Glandon and Anthony J. (Nancy Wild).

Grandma (aka Mom, aka All Gone, aka Maw) will be missed by her grandchildren, Cynthia, Luke, Clint, Dawn, Murphy, Shea, Michael Jr., Matthew, Jennifer, Megan, Thomas Jr., Ben, Maggie, Elizabeth, Ashley, Timothy Jr. (TJ), Michael, Billy, Sabrina, Jeffery, Jon, Erin, Ryan, Kevin, Sean and Kiley; and great-grandchildren, Tony, Amanda, Miranda, Skyler, Sadie, Sebastian, Xiani, Jackson, Molly, Liam,H. Ashton, Brock, Reese, Evan, Trevor, Morgan, Madeline, Adeline, Zach, Carly, Beauden, Kennedy, Ella, Kadan, Isabelle, Presley, Scarlett, Paisley, Clara and Patrick.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aberdeen Heights/The Glen for the exceptional care and love our mother received while she resided there.

Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 10 a.m., at St. Peter Catholic Church, 243 W. Argonne Drive., Kirkwood, Mo. 63122. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital via:
