Lawrence "Larry" Moskoff
Lawrence B. Moskoff, “Larry” 77, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2018, at his home in Chesterfield, MO after a two year battle following a major stroke. Mr. Moskoff is survived by his loving wife April, son Bradley and daughter Kristin DiCarlo (Tom); two grandchildren, Alex DiCarlo and Chloe Moskoff; Stepchildren Brett Belcher (Tara), Amanda Diehl (Brian), Randy Belcher (Jessy); Step grandchildren Clara, Gabrielle and Will Belcher, Jack and Collin Diehl, Caroline and Piper Belcher. Mr. Moskoff is also survived by two brothers, William Moskoff (Margie), Michael Moskoff (Judy); brother-in-law David Boettcher (Gail); special friends Jack and Jeannie Miller. He was preceded in death by parents Boris and Helen Moskoff, stepfather Art Forbes, sister Maryellen Stortz, brother-in-law David Stortz and dear cousin Basil “Doc” Moskoff, M.D. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Mr. Moskoff was born in West Frankfort, IL on March 23,1941, to Macedonian immigrant Boris L. and Helen (Theoharoff) Moskoff. Growing up in St. Louis, Mr. Moskoff attended Brentwood High School and St. Louis College of Pharmacy. In 1963, following the sudden passing of his father, Mr Moskoff took over the family pharmaceutical business, Bock Pharmacal Company. He was later joined by his brother William. Together, they grew the company and received several awards including the St. Louis Small Business Award and Inc 500, and later sold to Sanofi Pharmaceuticals in 1996. Mr. Moskoff’s business ventures included Thunder Aviation at Spirit of St. Louis Airport.
Mr. Moskoff’s greatest legacy was his “passion for life” which included his family, grandchildren and beloved sales force at Bock. He also enjoyed extensive travel, wine, flying, his home in Naples, Florida and loyal black Labrador, “Miss Scarlett.”
Mr. Moskoff’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to caregivers Jaime Bentz, therapist Michelle Brueggemann, Compassionate Nursing caregivers Arniika and Robin, and St. Luke’s Hospice team Vicki and Dan for all their incredible and compassionate care.
Visitation 4-8:00PM at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood, MO on Friday April 20,2018. Service at 10:00AM on Saturday April 21, 2018 at Bopp Chapel. Interment at St. Paul Churchyard, 7600 South Rock Hill Road.
