Greteman, Celine Marie (nee McDevitt), Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Greteman, loving mother of Mary Greteman (Joseph Lopinot), Dan Greteman (the late Barb), Jane Greteman-Pfister (Mark), Amy Greteman-Card (Les) and Kirby Greteman (Susan); dear grandmother of David, Kurt (Iavora), Alyse, Marissa, Hannah and Lea; dear sister of Therese Puddu (Nick), Bob Johnson (Kay) and Larry Johnson (Monica); she was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Katherine McDevitt and five siblings; beloved aunt, cousin and friend.
Celine was a teacher in the Webster Groves School District and served as Past President of the Webster Groves Retired Teachers Association. She was a founding member of the Green Garter Brigade and an active member of the Webster Groves Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and 4th Degree.
Funeral Mass Tues., May 29, 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 17 Joy Ave., Webster Groves. Interment private. Visitation Mon. 4-8 p.m. at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Redeemer Catholic School Scholarship Fund.
