Frederick Henry "Hank" Schwetye II
Frederick Henry “Hank” Schwetye II, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, the evening of Friday, July 27th, 2018 at the age of 70. He was a loving father and grandfather and passionate steward of the law, serving as an attorney in Franklin County for nearly 5 decades.
Hank was a graduate of Saint Louis University High School (1966), Saint Louis University (1970), and the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law (1973). He loved to read, BBQ, and spend time at his family farm in Labadie. He adored his children and grandchildren and will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his dear children: Frederick Henry (Lucy) Schwetye III, Erin Schwetye (Rob) Williams and James Schwetye; cherished grandchildren: Frederick Henry “Hank” IV and Owen Schwetye, and Jack, James and Luke Williams; and siblings: Thom (Ann) Schwetye, Katherine (Michael) Genovese, and Ellen (Steve) McAtee.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Hank’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday August 4th at the Church of the Annunziata, 9305 Clayton Rd., Ladue, Mo., with a reception to follow at St. Louis Country Club.
