Walter Duncan  Kennedy
Walter Duncan Kennedy passed away at Lake Regional Hospital Palliative Care in Camdenton, Missouri on December 27, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Karen Kennedy (nee Wolf), son Todd Derek Kennedy (Kimberly Kennedy, nee Mandziara), grandchildren Michael, Hannah and Samuel Kennedy. Predeceased by Donna Kennedy (nee Koewing). Survived by daughter Julie Weinstein (nee Flynn) (Andrew Weinstein), grandchildren Lillie, Jack and Lila Weinstein.
He was born in St. Louis to Walter Donald Kennedy and Virginia Margaret Kennedy (nee Wagner) on April 28, 1941. Survived by his brother Donald Kennedy of Montana. Predeceased by his parents and his sister Marybeth Nardoni (nee Kennedy). Dear brother, brother in law, cousin and friend to many.
Walt had a long career in the office furniture industry that began at Color Art, Planned Interiors, Designed Business Interiors. He also worked for Bass Pro in Springfield, Missouri as VP Wholesale Marketing and for Mr. Robert Clark at Clayco Construction Company in St. Louis, Missouri. He was active in the Missouri Jaycees, a Missouri JCI Senator, Kirkwood Rotary, an honorary Kentucky Colonel, served on the Kirkwood Greentree Committee, United States Marine Corps League.
His passions were his grandchildren, golf, fishing, wood working and spending time with his friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
