Obituary for Martha "Moppy" Skinker

Martha "Moppy" Skinker
Skinker, Martha “Moppy” Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday February 11, 2019, peacefully at Manor Grove. Dear sister of Nancy Schlueter (nee Skinker), dear aunt of Karen Schlueter and Tom Schlueter (Kathy), loving great aunt of Megan, Emily and Claire Schlueter, cousin and friend to many.
Moppy was born in St. Louis to parents Thomas and Iva Skinker. Moppy was a 1944 graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and went several years to Washington University. She worked for Cupples Manufacturing and then went in to business with Karl M. Block Co from which she retired. She was a member of Ste Genevieve du Bois parish for many years and worked tirelessly for the St. Liborius food pantry.
Family vacations and weekends at Sugar Tree Club with friends and family were her greatest joy.
Visitation Saturday February 16th, 10am until time of Memorial Mass beginning at 11am at Ste. Genevieve Du Bois Church, 1575 N. Woodlawn Avenue, Warson Woods. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ste. Genevieve Du Bois Conference of St. Vincent DePaul, or a charity of your choice.www.boppchapel.com
