It is with a very heavy heart and great sadness that the family of Karl Edward Aselage announces his passing after losing his long 3.5 year battle with pancreatic cancer, Friday April 12, 2019, at the age of 55 years. Karl had such a strong will & fight up until the end and provided his family more valuable time to make lasting memories. Karl will be forever remembered by his wife of 31 years and best friend of 40 years, Jane (nee Bokermann) and his children, Jonathan, Brandon (Angeline), and Austin. Karl will also be lovingly remembered by his mother, Mary Ann Aselage and six brothers and sisters and in-laws, Fran (Rob), Rick (Debbie), John (Beth), Randy (Susan), Carol (Tim), Gregg (Robyn). Karl will also be forever remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and very dear friends.

Karl was an extremely giving and loving man. He touched the lives of many in so many ways, more than any of us will really ever know. He was a selfless and loving husband, father and friend doing anything possible to help others.

Karl was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri, his final resting place. Visitation will take place 4 to 8 p.m.on Thursday, April 25th, 2019 at Bopp Chapel 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122.

A Celebration of Karl’s life will take place at 10am on Friday, April 26th, 2019 at St. Clement Catholic Church, 1510 Bopp Road, Des Peres, Missouri 63131. Msgr. Richard Hanneke, who also married Karl and Jane on November 28, 1987, will be officiating Karl’s funeral services. Karl’s final resting place will be Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 16200 Manchester Road, Wildwood, Missouri 63011.
Karl has resided in White Lake Michigan with his family for 28 years. A Memorial Service will be held the week of May 6th, 2019, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in White Lake Michigan. Details to follow separately.

A reception will be held at WingHaven Country Club, 7777 WingHaven Boulevard, O"Fallon MO 63368 (636-561-9464)

In Lieu of Flowers, donations to the following in Karl’s name:
- St. Anthony’s Hospital, St. Petersburg Florida
- Sky Foundation, Michigan

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in White Lake, Michigan on Monday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m with visitation with the family at 10:00 a.m.
