Obituary for Lois V. Hildreth (Sutter)

Lois V.  Hildreth (Sutter)
Lois Viola Hildreth (nee. Sutter), of St. Louis, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019, at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Los Hill Hildreth, her parents Lois and Albert Sutter, and her sister, Corolee Pier. She is survived by her sons: Bart (Beth) Hildreth, Todd (Laura) Hildreth; by grandchildren, Sam Hildreth, Molly (Tyler) Schmidt, William Hildreth, and Benjamin Hildreth; and by her brother-in-law, Rodney Hildreth, and sisters-in-law, Nan Cook and Betty Metts.

A life-time St. Louis resident, she worked in the Mehlville School District and retired as a Fourth Grade Teacher at Forder Elementary School. For twelve years she took time away from teaching to serve as a full-time mother to her sons. She was for many years a member of Kirkwood Baptist Church. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She also loved music, travel, and spending time with friends. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation Wed., June 5, from 8:30-9:30am with funeral service at 9:30am at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Kirkwood Baptist Church, 211 N. Woodlawn Ave., Kirkwood, MO 63122.
