Obituary for Robert J Wesolich

Robert J Wesolich
Robert J. Wesolich, at the end of a full and happy life was called home by God Friday, September 6, 2019, at the age of 81.

He is the beloved son of the late Mary Wesolich (Gorsich); cherished father to Robert M. Wesolich and wife Sarah Wesolich (Hillmeyer), and Beth Wesolich Bean; and the best, devoted “Bobpa” to grandchildren: Molly Wesolich, Michael Wesolich, Addie Bean, Stephen Wesolich, James Wesolich, and Sadie Bean.
“Bob” was born October 24, 1937 in St. Louis MO and attended Saints Peter and Paul grade school and McKinley High School. He was dedicated and respected employee of Tarlton Corporation for over fifty years, and was passionate about the construction industry. Bob devoted his life to raising his two children and set an incredible example followed to this day. Bob was a gifted athlete and spent years coaching baseball and softball teams for his children. In his later years, Bobpa attended as many games as possible to watch his grandchildren carry on the family love of sports. He loved golf and bowling and infused these activities with humor and pranks, as his many friends will attest. He lived big and left an impression on anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He always made time for anyone he loved. Bob was a generous, funny, smart, energetic, loyal, faithful man who will be missed daily and dearly. Words can’t begin to do him justice. We are grateful for our time with him and look forward to seeing him again.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at St. Clement Catholic Church, 1510 Bopp Rd, in Des Peres at 9 am, followed by Memorial Mass at 10:30. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter.
