It is with great sadness that the family of Albert John Will, Jr announce his
passing on September 10, 2019 at the age of 86 yrs. Al is lovingly remembered
by his wife of 63 yrs, Shirley Ann (nee Zemblidge) and his four children, Debra (Greg) Marx, Michael (Beth) Will, Karen Will, Lisa (Bill) Nass. Grandpere will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Geoff (Christine) Jones, Chris (Elizabeth) Will, Greg (Patricia) Marx, Dianne (Matt) Bonoccorsi, Bryan (Shayne)
Marx, Emily (Andrew) Winkler and Thomas Nass. He is also survived by five
great grandchildren. Dear brother of M. Charlotte Riordan (The late James Riordan), Richard A. Will (The late Joann Black), Vernon P. Will, David E. Will (Jeanne Barry), Janet H. Binz (The late Robert Binz),
Donna M. Cleary (John Cleary), and Gerald T. Will (Martha Druhe).

Before his marriage to Shirley on Nov. 5, 1955, Al served in the U.S. Army while
in Korea from 1953 to 1955. It was there that he developed his ability to lead.
Al was President of Gershman Investment Corp/Gershman Mortgage since 2001.
He began his career there in 1962 and retired on September 29, 2018. He loved
his job and loved the people with whom he worked. Spending 56 years in one job is rare and speaks to Al’s loyalty, yet he led with strategic thinking, vibrant energy and incredible vision. Al was a friend and mentor to many current and former employees, known for his work ethic, integrity, creativity, and passion for Gershman Mortgage.
He was the past President of the Missouri Mortgage Bankers Association as well as the Mortgage Bankers of St Louis. He was also active with the
Mortgage Bankers Association of America, having served on numerous

Al thrived by helping others succeed and he took great pride in guiding and
encouraging people to meet their goals and objectives. He was an inspiration to
many people and he was the glue that held so many moving parts of his life

Al loved golf and he particularly enjoyed the game with his family. He planned
and organized numerous family golf trips in and around the United States and
Europe. He loved New York City and a good restaurant with white table cloths.
He will be missed by his family, friends and co-workers but will be remembered
by his funny analogies and words of wisdom.

Memorial Mass Friday September 20th, 10:30am at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church. Memorial contributions preferred to Friends of Kids with Cancer or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Visitation Thursday September 19th 4 - 8 pm at Bopp Chapel.
