Obituary for Charles H. Stecher

Charles H.  Stecher
Stecher, Charles H., age 75, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sunday, November 17, 2019. Beloved husband of Anna M. Stecher (nee Mercurio) for 54 years; dear father of Kim (Jeremy) Moore and Michelle Stecher; dear cousin, uncle and friend.
Charlie met his wife Anna at Bishop Du Bourg High School. He went to Mizzou where he played on the first rugby team. He played for 16 years for the St. Louis Ramblers. He worked as a quality control manager for 28 years at Reckitt Benckiser. Later, he became a food and safety auditor for 12 years. He enjoyed playing poker, golfing and fishing, and his three girls were his world.
Funeral Mass Sat., Nov. 23, 9:30 am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (Brentwood). Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association of St. Louis, 2258 Weldon Pkwy., St. Louis, MO 63146. Visitation 4-8 pm Friday at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd. Kirkwood.
