The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lorene Griesedieck can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Al Vitale
Condolence: As Sarah's guest on several occassions at the farm I could see that Lorene was a woman of style and grace.
A parent's passing seems to bring into focus the influence they have on their children and for me she will live on in Sarah's smile, good nature, and the stories of happy childhood memories on the farm.
To those that knew her well and loved her dearly I send my love and condolences. May she rest in peace.

Condolence From: Trish Curtis
Condolence: Everyone who has ever attended one of St. Cronan's homemade retreats at the family country home has been a recipient of Mrs. Griesedieck's generosity. I can only imagine all the kind and beautiful things she did for others thru her long life. I am grateful for her example and that of her wonderful family.

Condolence From: Paul and Kathleen Munsch
Condolence: Kathleen and I are out of town and won’t be able to make it to Laurie’s services. We are sorry won’t be there to be with all of our cousins and share our happy memories. One of my favorite memories is Christmas Day in 1974 in Squires Lane when I gave Kathleen a ring and asked her to marry me.
Laurie and Buddy were very special people. We miss them.

Condolence From: JOHN M. ROLWING
Condolence: I came to know both Laurie and Buddy while in Naples, Fl. My sister and Laurie were friends, and [we] had a common interest in that Laurie's parents bought my Aunt Rose and (late) uncle Harry' Ezzell's home in San Antonio. The fun part was that these was a contingent on the fact that the maid and houseman, Madalyn and Raymond be included in the sale. Would see them around St. Louis all the time, and they were and Laurie stands out, as a most gracious couple with an amazing family of beautiful children. I share the sorrow of the loss of Laurie, as she had so many friends and her children had so many friends that any gathering at their home in Hunleigh was more like a big happy family gathering. My condolences to all, and my remembrances with them will remain forever.
