Condolences

Condolence From: Chris Watkins Rodda
Condolence: Mary Ann was a bright spot in my memories of Nerinx Hall. Her smile, laughter and quick wit, that is what I remember the most. Hilarious is the word for Mary Ann. She was so kind and sweet. I watched her Video tribute and I see her laughing with everyone she loved. She must of have had a very happy life with all of you. Love to you all and my most heartfelt condolences. There will never be another Mary Ann.

Condolence From: Barbara (Priesmeyer) Forst
Condolence: My freshman year at Nerinx, before our move to Webster, Diane Spener, Mary Ann, and I would take the bus to school. On return trips, we would sometimes stop in at Hanneke's to get a treat for the walk home. One time we decided to only "speak in Latin" or make some feeble attempt at it and told the Hanneke guys to only call us by our Latin names which we created spur of the moment. They didn't bat an eye. We were regulars. That spurred on one of us to scratch our Latin initials into a wooden column next to the meat counter by she who shall remain nameless forever. We made a run for the door and laughed all the way home. Mary Ann was so bright and funny and always willing to conspire with her fellow Hallmarkers. I feel terribly for everyone who has lost her in their lives. I so regret not reconnecting with her later in life.

Condolence From: Kevin Mitchell
Condolence: I only got to chat with Mary probably half a dozen times (and usually over our shared backyard fence) but that was all that was needed to know what a wonderful person she was (and had a wonderful daughter and granddaughter who she loved). Sending love to Bob and Rebecca and the rest of the family.

Condolence: Mary Ann and I worked together for 30 years. She was so caring and always friendly and helpful to all our patients. She was my very special friend and we had many talks and laughs about our families. Her grandchildren were so much fun and she loved being with them. She had so much love for Apple,Lou, and Annie and of course Bobby.
She will truly be missed by many!!
