Obituary for Thomas J. Reichardt

Thomas J. Reichardt
Reichardt, Thomas Joseph, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend, entered into peace on Monday, September 14, 2020. Loving husband of 44 years to his best friend, Mary C. (Tina) Reichardt. Devoted father of Tim (Diane) Reichardt, Brian (Stephanie) Reichardt, and Catherine (Mace) Nosovitch. Preceded in death by his parents, August J. Reichardt and Dolores E. Reichardt, and brother, Richard Reichardt. Dedicated brother of Suzanne (Frederick M., III) Switzer, Robert Reichardt, and Kurt Reichardt. Adoring grandfather of Reese, Gwen, Claire, Gus, Heidi, Ingrid, Ethan, Skylar, Logan, Aidan, and Jonah. Doting in-law and (great) uncle to the Spesia, Bush, and Walsh families.

Tom was a proud Navy Veteran, well-respected contractor, and avid collector of historical memorabilia. Above all, he was a caring, giving, light-hearted, funny, and selfless family man and friend. Nothing made Tom happier than being with Tina, his children, and especially his grandchildren. He spread joy with his contagious laugh and smile. He will be greatly missed by many. Tom’s family is grateful for the efforts of his nurses and health care providers, including Dr. Leidenfrost and Dr. Murugappan, at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Funeral Mass Monday, September 21, 10:30 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church limited to family but will be live streamed. You may find the service on the St. Michael’s website (stmike.org) and click on "watch live" to the live stream. We are grateful to all who have prayed and extended condolences.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions appreciated to Yellow Ribbon Fund, Inc. www.yellowribbonfund.org.
